Classroom Connections Platform |
How Does the Program Work?
The Classroom Connections Platform makes it easy for business volunteers to get involved with schools. Businesses don’t have to spend hours figuring out who to contact or which programs could use their expertise. Schools don’t have to cold call businesses to find volunteers. We facilitate matches between businesses and schools or non-profits with proven education programs.
How Can You Get Involved?
Members of the Classroom Connections Platform are individuals, businesses and industry organizations that work with teachers, schools and districts to advance real-world learning opportunities and career exploration for students, while educators collaborate between businesses and educators, with a common agenda to prepare students. Advocates in both roles are necessary for a successful endeavor in our community.

Submit a Career Profile
Career profiles (example here) allow students to glean information from your journey, challenges you face, things you love about your career, and advice you have for them. This is a great way for students to learn from local professionals that are currently in the same career cluster as they are interested in pursuing. Career profiles contain no contact information - they are a one way communication tool.
